The Promise
This is where everything started. One small promise: every month, do something new, uncomfortable, or outside the usual routine.
Six women. One villa. Seven days in Siargao. Come for the island, the food, the surf, the culture, the laughs, and that little nudge you've been needing.
Adios Comfort Zone (ACZ) is built around one simple idea: life gets more interesting when we stop choosing the familiar option every time.
It started with a promise LuLu made to herself in 2015: every month, do one thing that felt unfamiliar, uncomfortable, or outside her usual routine.
What began as a personal challenge eventually became ACZ.
Today, ACZ brings women together through retreats, workshops, events, and experiences designed to inspire new perspectives, new connections, and new stories.
How ACZ worksThe thing you keep postponing, avoiding, overthinking, or quietly wanting.
A new place helps you hear yourself without the noise of your normal life.
Not a massive reinvention. Just one brave, slightly uncomfortable yes.
With women who are also figuring things out, not pretending they have it all sorted.
A decision, a direction, a little more courage, or at least a story worth telling.

"Nine years ago I came to Siargao as a backpacker. Today I'm welcoming six women into something I imagined long before it existed."
Hi, I'm LuLu.
I'm Filipino-Australian, split my time between Portugal and Siargao, and have spent the last decade exploring more than 65 countries. Every place has left its mark on me, but Siargao was different.
When I first arrived here in 2017, I remember standing on the beach with a feeling that made absolutely no sense at the time. I knew I'd build something here one day. A place that brought people together.
Years later, that feeling became La Luna Villa.
This retreat is my way of sharing a little piece of the island, and the magic that kept bringing me back.
Read LuLu's storyThe highlights reel never tells the full story, but here are a few moments that helped shape it.
This is where everything started. One small promise: every month, do something new, uncomfortable, or outside the usual routine.
At some point the monthly challenge became a way of life. In April 2017, I sold most of what I owned and bought a one-way ticket for a 1 year journey. But I never came back.
Somewhere between airports, hostels, sun, snow, rain, and more than 65 countries, I realised that the best things in my life rarely came from having a perfect plan.
Seven years later, the idea became real. La Luna Villa wasn't just a business project. It became a place where people gather, connect, celebrate, and create stories of their own.

You don't need to have everything figured out. Some women come because they feel stuck. Some come because they are curious. Some just want an adventure. All are welcome.
Maybe you've travelled solo before. Maybe you've never done anything like this. Either way, you're here reading this page, which probably tells us everything we need to know.
Career. Relationships. Home. What's next. You don't need to have it all figured out before you come. Most women arrive with more questions than answers.
Sometimes the best part of a trip isn't the thing you planned. It's the person you meet, the conversation you have, or the thing you nearly talked yourself out of doing.
We like adventure, but we also like proper beds, good food, hot showers, and a plunge pool to come home to at the end of the day.
